I suppose this is the part where I tell you about myself and my journey. It's simple.

I was made to create.

My intention is to create work that not only captures your eye, but allows you to see differently. Art is perspective. Not always understood, but felt. It should captivate you. Any form of art should make you feel, even if you can't quite understand what you feel. Within lies an opportunity for growth, change and perspective.

I have been creating as long as I can remember. I've used art in my life as a form of escapism. It was a way for me to express myself. 

 

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to dive into many forms of artistry. It began with drawing at a young age and later fell into my love of fashion and design. Then, I discovered painting and I felt free. Art came naturally. It's my safe space. A place that made my world seem real, in a world now that can be so easily falsified. My hope is to encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zones and dissolve the idea that we, "need to belong" and just be. I know at times it may seem as if we have to find belonging, but the truth is, we already do. We're all here for a purpose and here to utilize our own individuality. I believe we are here to inspire one another. Our gifts are about community and bringing us together.

We must show what we have to offer this world. We're called to create.
